OK y'all! http://tooter.today is live and ready to help your friends find places to toot from! It provides scored instances in an easy-to-use fashion for new users and helps onboard them to tinier instances. Please help me load-test it by boosting it across the fediverse! :)

Next to come is a nice home page with explanations of the fediverse!

@way Nice :thumbsup: I'd really like to see *slightly* more information about who is running each instance (e.g. Mastodon name, Github, Twitter, etc), but I guess that would be in the data from instances.mastodon.xyz

@ocean I want to add that stuff! will need to do some scraping for it though, I'm probably going to spin up an entire 'nother service to gather more data

@way Cool. Do you know the person behind instances.mastodon.xyz ?? It feels like it makes sense for that info to be added to there and then your service can pull it across. I'd be happy to help if you know of a Git repo.
