@[email protected] essentially nothing at the moment, tbh. ipv6 websites can only be practical when run dual-stack right now (meaning they still work over ipv4 as well), so you aren't conserving ipv4 addresses by adding ipv6 support. there's also no performance boost i'm aware of. it's future-proofing for when we finally do switch to ipv6-only, but that's a long way off. so right now ipv6 support is only worth nerd cred

@[email protected] something that WOULD give a performance boost is http/2 support, although probably not a significant boost. it's easy enough to enable though, since mastodon runs behind nginx already, so it might still be worth looking into?
