Regarding the Internet of People, I would love to see it continue within DiEM and yet, at the same time, I want to see it developed publicly (not behind a members-only forum). I will be mirroring any content I’ve written/contributed on forum.ind.ie and I intend to continue the work there, publicly, to develop the policies with a panel of respected experts in the field.

All the best,
Aral

@aral this is very disappointing regarding the DiEM movement, that they don't understand the significance of Internet for democracy is just completely discrediting it own signifiance and legitimacy.
@Olm_e @aral
We in DiEM25 so much want Aral to do his proposed internet of people that we did not vote him in the 12 people Coordinating Collective, the CC is not the place to work on such a huge issue. We need Aral but not in the CC, we need Aral to work with all of us members. Collective intelligence, not stupidity, voted other people to volunteer work in CC. We do not really understand his resignation from the Advisory Panel. Definitely not accepted.
@Nathalie @aral mmm.. ok... looks like a complicated issue ... looks like Diem25 is also a complex system in itself already. ;)
This is a huge issue indeed, and it must be a part of the democratic process in construction that to retake the internet back from the hands of corporations.
Can't follow the inner process of Diem25, I'm already in too much things, but could be nice to meet in Bxl around acentralised libre internet and commons topics
