@five @whitequark @munin @er1n I have a weird and hypersensitive visual system; I can also induce simple closed-eye visuals with a few minutes of concentration - currently I'm doing 800 mg/day 5-HTP plus tianeptine as needed for depression, and it seems much nicer for side effects than SSRIs, with no withdrawal effects

@whitequark Basically useless bc of downregulation issues and bc you need MAO inhibitors and other adjuvants. Bromantane is what you want for the pathway you're looking at tweaking @er1n @munin @puellavulnerata

@five @munin @er1n @whitequark last year I predicted and then confirmed by self-experimentation a synergistic effect of bromantane and phosphatidylserine, due to the reliance of the former on protein kinase C for its mechanism of action. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get hold of bromantane since.
