@timp @five I’m wondering if that asks too much of one’s followers. I’ve migrated once, so far and changed my old display name to "(Old account)". The old profile (@rauschma) points to my new ID, as does the latest post.

@rauschma if federation is to succeed, it's going to eventually become very painless to switch. For both you and the followers. I know *how* to build it. The hard part is guiding everyone in the right direction @rauschma @timp
