my experience with Windos and linux

#Windows: bought a new laptop with Win 10 wasted half my day trying to start wi-fi, had to reset it many times.
finally when it started net was slow later found out because windows id downloading updates.
sill net keeps being slow because of all the updates.

#Linux: downloaded Mint cinnamon 1.2 created a usb installer booted in 10 year old laptop.
worked like a charm
