I've just realised that since mastodon became a habit, I haven't bothered to check the birdsite anymore.
It was all interesting academic stuff that I was following (and the rubberbandits -they're really very smart) but now I don't want to go back anymore.

I have too much of a professional network on twitter to give it up entirely but yeah, about to cancel Facebook again after my wedding on Saturday (I had reopened it to communicate with family).

I love these new modalities!

@davidpgil @dzuk @mykola Twitter is great for work and Facebook is good for family and friends to keep up/catch up but I never used them much for personal stuff (weird stalker from real life found them).
But I like how more conversational and open/honest people are here while being considerate of others or at least that's how I've found it.
