The day before.

I'll send this pic out tonight and start to stir the student populace a bit, but this is the classroom where a lot of things went right last spring in organic chemistry and when I'll start to get the sophomores starting general chemistry ready for the heavy lifting to come.

I've gotten past much of the angst (especially the current-events fed angst) and arrived at anticipation and excitement.

Away we go. https://mastodon.social/media/ezL-MstY0OgnSifwAYg

@ShorterPearson Do you teach high school students?

@escapist College. Primarily freshman/sophomore level chemistry and physics, although I'll do a little upper-division biochemistry and physical chemistry from time to time.

(I'm at a REALLY small place.)

@ShorterPearson That's great. High school teachers and college professors fulfill extremely important roles in society. When I was in high school an English teacher I had junior year became a very important support for me.

In college, I've had some excellent professors. One would provide feedback on whatever crazy personal project I was working on for free.

Keep it up!

@escapist I'm selfish as all get-out; I only tend to be interested in companies that want to hire my students. ;)
