Sorry, I am obtuse: I am thinking more and more about the solar eclipse in the US in two weeks. I am seeing everything, more and more, from the viewpoint of coordinating family travel to a desert campsite in eastern Oregon for a 2 minute totality.
It's been like going to Burning Man: limited campsites, infinite demand, online reservations, disappointment and elation. The campsites are much better than at Burning Man, though, and it's much cheaper, with fewer nude hippies.
@WelshPixie here in Spain the maximum of the eclipse (just a 25%) was just at moonrise. Almost not noticeable.
