@danharmon It's a normal public post that isn't featured on public timelines ("local timeline", "federated timeline" and timelines for any hashtags you include). Maybe it should've been called unfeatured instead. I took terminology from youtube videos.

@danharmon It means that your posts don't show up in the 'local' feeds of everyone on mastodon.social and your posts don't show on the 'federated' feeds of all the Mastodon instances that are linked to mastodon.social. People can still view your page at https://mastodon.social/@danharmon though, your toots aren't private.
