Every now and again, I look through the "on this day..." feature on the Failbook. It is a weakness. But I do this.

It reminds me that, two years ago, in a conservative university town in middle Tennessee, I went to a church that was willing to put this on a billboard.

@ShorterPearson but it was there and so were you, and sometimes things that don't last for whatever reason still impact us greatly - whether a fleeting glance from a stranger or a teacher/friend that stays part of your life for years. Memories are lovely (that we have them at all) - how experiences and reflections change us, shape us, and send us on to whatever is next.

I'm in a train station and a stranger just sat opposite me in this booth. I love that.
