@five well. This is definitely rough around the edges but I guess I should have expected that. Also Mastodon is not very catchy but maybe people can get over that. I've been thinking about a decentralized twitter for a while so I'm surprised it took me a year to find

@Brenner haha... you're about to open a can of worms you don't want to open lmao. tldr the subjectivity makes me uneasy too but ultimately this isn't OUR instance -- it's the community and culture @Gargron wants. We should be good guests until we have our own instance that's a bit more liberal :)

@five @Gargron ahhhhh. I'm started to understand the instance thing a bit better now. Will have to read the /about page a bit more and get a better full picture. I like the idea of the different communities. Have thought about it being split out by topics
