anyway how you all doing? i've nearly finished scratchbuilding a 3d printer based on the prusa i3 mk2. the frame is made of 3030 extrusion and is sturdy as fuck. just need the motors and stuff now. also pictured: a catbutt https://mastodon.social/media/FyFI0RV_3ZI3aGrusow

@abackstrom yeah basically that's the whole thing of the reprap project, though it's gonna be a while till someone figures out how to print a stepper motor/hotends and stuff. there's at least one printer i know of that has a totally printed frame but it's more a proof of concept than anything you'd wanna use. lot of inertia happening
