And here is another evil IOT device: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQ0FZrc2lRA
How do we stop that infectious gadget disease?
@uft Are you ready for over 3 billion IoTs in 2020?

@miwilc Depends. I do not want to be ready for the following categories:
1. Google, Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft and affiliated solutions.
2. Solutions caring more about commercial revenue than human beings.
3. Solutions created by venture capital startups.
4. Solutions being a solution for a yet to be found problem.
5. "Cloud"-only solutions
6. "Free-as-in-cost" solutions

I do not let those solutions enter my private space. I'm more concerned about people carrying them around.

@uft The future is *nix, as far as I'm concerned.

Windows will naturally push their Windows IoT OS but I'm sure (or confident) that no company will use their OS.

Linux is a small turnoff for companies because of the GPL Code, as they view it as a disadvantage and do not see the advantages.

*BSDs are more permissive and allow "X, Y and Z" to modify it as long as they include proper credits.

This is problematic for some, because they don't _have to_ release the source code, it's a improvement.
