god fucking damn it we've BEEN over this as a society, y'all. the reason AIDS finally got attention is that we figured out when you ignore crises in the LGBT community, cishet people fucking die too.
it KILLS me that people have already forgotten the scale of the deaths. that we as a people have forgotten when everyone knew someone who died of it. that cishet society has already decided to shove it back under the rug.
