Great, the "reach out to us if you're feeling down" brigade's marching around again.

Here's an idea: If you know someone who is depressed, *you* reach out to *them*. Because they're not going to do that—depression gets in the way of that. There are resources out there that talk about what you can do[1]. Be proactive, not reactive.
