Yeah, that's the difficult part when evaluating state forms. "Social Democracy works, look at Sweden!" ... Yeah, or maybe it works because it's Sweden and actually worked really well back in the 30s too, before the utopia was fully realized. We reached Peak Social Democracy in the 70s, ran out of money, and have been scaling it back every since.
