Steven Maske@kfalconspb I've noticed a steep drop off in participation on this site (this is only underscored by me taking 3 days to respond). When the InfoSec community first jumped on the Mastodon band waggon I was seeing a couple of dozen posts a day now I see maybe five a week.

@kfalconspb @ITSecurity Also, I keep eyes on Twitter for a lot of news and real time event notifications that just aren't over here. Those often trigger me to post or respond.
@rabbit @kfalconspb There's also a lot of duplicate effort between here and bird site. Why take the time to post here if you don't get the same level of interaction?
@ITSecurity @kfalconspb I keep meaning to see if there's an easy way to post to both at once. I haven't looked yet TBH.
