my grammar online is atrocious but as soon as I have a paper due I'm the queen of grammar it has to be a psychological switch or something lol

@blushbabe This is me writing papers for lit classes.

Me, talking: yeah, idk, I read the book, it was good.

Me, sitting down to write: In doing so, Le Guin not only justifies her endeavor and the legitimacy of this translation, she situates her utopia solidly within the post-Marx tradition (Nadir 26) of “the inspirational dream of an improved, alternative world,” BLAH BLAH BLAH

@beezyal MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE LMAOOO
@blushbabe There's *definitely* gotta be some kind of background processing that goes on that I don't know how to access without sitting down to write lol.
@beezyal I swear as soon as I get done reading my research/information I've gathered suddenly I'm an excellent writer using extensive vocabulary but the me online? grammar? who is that?

@blushbabe Right?! I feel like I have a 100 word vocab in everyday interaction. But when I write, I'll type some technical ass word and think "wtf does that actually even mean? Why did I use it?" And a quick search usually reveals that it's not just appropriate, but a better word for the sentence than I thought lol.

So my brain is smart and I am not, maybe?
