eesha ☭its really surprising how many people dont think healthcare and housing and education and literally just food and water are human rights and should be provided like. thats just the stuff people need to survive. you think people shouldnt inherently be able to survive?
i talk to people about this and a common response i get is that these basic necessities should be "affordable". Affordable? affordable to who? cause theres always gonna be tons of people who CANT afford them. when you put a price on survival you are literally equating someones right to live with how much money they make and if you dont see the problem with that. well.
