Let's play "weird photos and screenshots found on a device I'm using for the first time in a while"

(Thread unlisted, pleas click through.)

NASA concept art (public domain)
@ajr oh wait, shit. I'm not sure if that's actually from the NASA collection. Let me go reverse image search that shit. Brb.

The image was called Undersea Horizons, by Robert McCall

He did NASA art, which is now in the public domain. I'm not sure if that photo was for NASA or Disney. Find out before you try to use it.

@ajr I have never read this book. I dk why I have the cover, but what a fuckin cover.
Like, giant furry fic from the 70s??
@ajr music I listened to the day I applied for the job I currently have.

This is a fun one. I might post this on to the public TL later.

This is the first submission I got when I opened submissions for my magazine. The kid that wrote it was a nice guy, he told me that he wanted to write for vice. Then he sent me this. Apparently he was pretty high when he wrote it.

I thought it was the funniest thing I'd ever read, and decided to publish it.

He has since appeared on stage with me, and read it aloud.

I highly encourage you to read it word for word.

@ajr it was sent to me like this, by the way. A single spaced screenshot.
Another book cover for a book I haven't read. Not as cool as the last one.
Rapid fire: the most recent photo of my brother, a screenshot from a dumb game I loved that shuttered and I'm still mad about it, what I was watching on tv a year ago, and a random encounter at IKEA.

@ajr who expects to have to fight an army of float eyes at an IKEA?

Thankfully I knew a lullaby, and our wizard got some blessings from the RNG gods with some chain lightening.

The Staff was pretty upset, though. Apparently you're not supposed to use magic in IKEA, lest you awaken "The Meatball"

It was a weird day.

@ajr two shots from the same day, related in ways I cannot understand nor explain.
