It's not entirely bragging: the donut was mediocre. Atlantic City is legendary for its bakeries, and those torpedoes will be *awesome*, but this is definitely bagel country. Donuts are an afterthought.
@gamehawk I fail, I've never gone to the white house for a sub #atlanticcity. I lived in S. Jersey for 30 years.

@SilverNeurotic I haven't been either (we live 20 minutes outside of AC for at least a couple more weeks, but we've only visited a handful of times) though there are a couple of offshore shops that use WH bread. Those torpedoes (and the mediocre donuts) are Aversa. Haven't found a bakery I don't like yet.

I gather Jersey farmers market rules don't allow meat sales, because I haven't seen a pork or chicken vendor at any of them. (In Kansas they can sell frozen meats from coolers.)

@gamehawk Meat is (as far as a I know) only sold in markets and grocery stores. I reccommend Marcacchi Meats in Vineland if you want some good meat (their pork is A+)
