Listening to @atpfm on pricing and wanted to check my own Mac Studio.

Bought 1 year ago, M4 Max 40-Core GPU, 128GB RAM, 8TB storage:

$5,899

Today, that config doesn’t exist, you can only get 64GB RAM with M4 Max. But if you take the price increase of 64 to 128 from the M5 MacBook Pro (+ $1,600) today my Mac Studio would be:

$8,899 and a new Mac Studio won’t ship until October 🫠

I was upgrading from an M1 Max, which I didn’t really *need* but man, in retrospect that was a great decision.

@stephenrobles @atpfm woof. Great decision! I’m still rocking the M1 MacBook Air and it’s still solid. I was waiting for the new Mac Studios to come out but now I think I’ll have to continue waiting.
