@s_d_brath @slothrop Proton never acknowledged that endorsing fascists was bad. Like Mullvad is currently telling : "they're open to everyone" and that everyone includes fascists.

What Proton did was saying : "we're sorry we endorsed somebody with political views, we won't endorse any political view from now on".

@slothrop i do pay for proton because i like their email service and the vpn etc. its a great alternative to google/microsoft and it hasnt failed me yet. Its a shame people have to be so horrible.

@tehstu @slothrop Most of these "privacy focused" VPN companies are operated by foreign state agents. They are very technically competent with no ethics whatsoever.
