why is every tech company convinced that using your hands is a bad interface? i don’t know a single person who actually likes to talk to machines. it’s a nice option to have as a fallback, but smartphones (or in the context of a smart home physical buttons in the right places) are a much better user experience. there is a reason they became the main interface for people to interact with the world. they are REALLY good.
even a perfect voice assistant that understands what you mean will be slower than using your hands. »siri close my curtains« takes longer to say than pressing a button on the device i’m already holding in my hands.
