Yes, @Rainmaker1973 is a bot account.
But it is also proof that being a 'bot' account is not synonymous with being 'bad'.
The account distributes some amazing videos, and the selection shows that the makers have their hearts in the right place.
It's a cute video, may be staged, but who cares? It is nice, kind.
However. They aren't "makers"
It's just sucking things in from X and posting them here. Original creators be damned.
I looked at other posts, also unattributed, no alt-text and rare attributions, but only to the account that posted it.
So many instances require posts be self-made or attributed to the creator, but an instance like this just has 3 rules, 1 of which is "don't interact with the bots."
I am aware that they are not the makers.
But the videos they post are often worthwhile and usually accompanied by a short description, so they have seen and selected the videos.
Accreditations would of course, be a lot better, and I can imagine people not following because that is missing.
They do not remove anything as well. It is very clear that this video came from 'The Dodo', a channel that I trust.
