I don't know that it'll ever be in my price range, but if I were somehow able to afford a $25K vehicle to turn into a camper / mini house on wheels, the Slate might be pretty high up the list, given its huge selling point of containing a 63KWh battery, which (presumably with the right options/mods) greatly reduces the need for any sort of separate power system for car camping, or just pulling up in a parking lot somewhere to work away from household activity for a few hours.
