I sometimes see photos of vintage Macs with new memory modules, usually purple PCBs. Does anyone remember or know what those are, and who sells them? #retroApple #retrocomputing

@arroz PurpleRAM uses recycled RAM chips on new PCBs, e.g. https://www.tindie.com/products/jurassicomp/purpleram-4mb-1mb-x-4-30-pin-dram-simm-kit/

There are also designs for special cases such as Mac II/IIx 30-pin SIMMs with PALs or the 64-pin IIfx RAM modules.
