How did this happen? That is between 2 laptops, of which one doesn't even have an Ethernet jack. Does one of you have an idea?

Sadly didn't have a TB cable to try that instead.
Funnily enough the speed in the other direction is "just" 1.5 GBits/sec which I have not found a reason for.
If you have any idea? The second device used Windows 11.
@Wolkensteine Try more threads, i.e. -P 4
@null_scum That is only for the iperf-client isn't it? We'll try that tomorrow though. We tried like -P 10 and then in total it was slower since it established that many connections but the server seemed to still only use one thread. Maybe it is also a configuration issue on my side, will have to look in more detail tomorrow.
@Wolkensteine It is a client only option, but the server will spawn threads to match.
