Yes, it's that hot and humid. The humidity is at a suffocating level right now where the air feels like you are breathing in hot pudding.

Man, fuck #Florida in the summer.

I love to hike. It's one of my favorite things and it fills the role that meditation does for other people. Being too hot to hike sucks bigtime.

If we could just get some clouds or rain. This clear blue sky is lethal.

I have a thin cloud cover with a breeze. It's comparatively comfortable right now compared to the last 5 or 6 days. My AC is actually keeping up today.

@Puck It clouded up here too. I think we got that same cloud deck here. It's not dense, but it's enough to moderate the sun. I should have gone and did a short hike, but I decided to piddle in the garden a little. Everything needed a good watering.

I've been collecting seeds and plants for the yard, but it's too hot and dry to plant. We're on heavy water restrictions and city water doesn't do as good as rain water, so I'm trying to do porch and inside projects. Heat is bad. Drought is bad. Combined is killing off even the hardy plants.
