"We didn't name them because we feared the consequences for their families"

And what he means by that is, by giving these Palestinian children their basic rights under the Convention on the Rights of The Child, they would be painting a target on the backs of their families.

Chris Sidoti, Australian representative on the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory

they would be painting a target on the backs of their families.

@MiaMarkTwo they know that this is a genocide, they know that the genocide is ongoing, they know if they name names that the war criminals who have still not been brought to justice (and are sitting in the same room with Sidoti as he makes this announcement) will put the families of the victims of those children right up to the top of the list of people marked for extermination.

It is just so insane, that the UN can commission these reports and gather all this evidence of war crimes committed, evidence rigorous enough to be used in a court of law and bring the war criminals to justice, and at the same time, have people in the same governing body, at the same time, in the same place, using that government as a tool to carry-out the war crimes.

This is what a failing empire looks like.
