The 20-20-20 Eye Reset

Staring at screens tires out the muscles that help you focus. That fatigue drags down your concentration and can mess with your sleep. The 20-20-20 rule helps break that cycle by giving your eyes a reset every 20 minutes. (1/3)

What to do:
1. Set a timer to repeat every 20 minutes while you work
2. Every 20 minutes, look at something at least 20 feet away for 20 seconds
3. Blink slowly 10 times during each break to rewet your eyes
4. Add 3 deep breaths to clear your head

A couple of tips: Don't check your phone during these breaks. That's still a screen. Look out a window if you can. Switch your devices to night mode after 8 PM to protect your sleep cycle. (2/3)

What you'll notice: Less eye strain, sharper focus in the afternoon, and better sleep by the time you hit the pillow.
