#Alt4You Four panel cartoon. A management-type person tells a front-line worker "Don't worry. Just do it.". The worker replies "Can you put that in writing?". After a pause, the manager says "Like I said, let's park it for now.".
I worked a few contracts where I had a supervisor come up to me more than once and ask to make changes I knew would go against project.
I told him to send me an email with everything he wanted done, because I was very busy and the more he interrupted me the longer it would take.
I did everything he wanted and when we had our weekly meeting, our project manager asked me why I did what I did. I forwarded him the email my supervisor sent me.

I told him (and everyone there), how the supervisor is the one slowing down this contract. I said he doesn't know what he is talking about when he makes random changes, he makes assumptions while ignoring related data.
The project manager ended the meeting and had the supervisor call him after. A few days later, my supervisor was reassigned to another contract.
That was NOT the first time I got someone fired or relocated.
