Li ChenAt my Brisbane book launch last night a little girl asked if I would be back next year and I told her I hope so, if Penguin lets me. Her eyes went so wide and she was like “you have a pet penguin?!”
I love that not only did she think I had a pet penguin, but also that I needed its permission to go on book tours 🐧🤭
Jared@exocomics you also have a cat named Penguin!?! My 13yo black cat is named Penguin! I am really glad that someone out there gets to talk to people about their Penguin without first mentioning their Penguin is a cat. It partially influenced the name for my youngest cat, Sodium Pop Lightning!, who I nicknamed Soda Pop.
