I avoid the #LEGO Minifig Series boxes to avoid getting sucked into another collection spiral, but after seeing a recent MOC of the Week on Tips and Bricks (3140) that has themed settings based on a Series Minifig, I got tempted. Today I saw some Series 28 boxes in a local shop and reluctantly got two of the six. When checking out, I discovered 15% off, so I grabbed the other four.

I could not believe I didn't get any duplicates. And that I got two that I really wanted, the monkey and lion.
