Wildfire season is upon us.

Our trail fires page is ready for the upcoming fire season. We've added video animation that shows smoke, hotspots, burn scars and fire weather index.

Last 72 hours in one hour increments. Land cover is a fire weather risk index comprised of: temperature, wind, relative humidity and ground surface moisture. Land cover fire risk is color-coded as: green (low), greenish-brown (moderate) and brown (high).
