The packet of Mitsubishi Uni Nano Dia Color 0.7 mm Blue leads was delivered today, so of course I immediate emptied my vintage Koh-i-Noor Rapidomatic 0.7 mm #MechanicalPencil to test the new leads, and WOW, are these things *awesome*.
If I'm honest, I think I actually like general writing better with the Nano Dia 0.7 mm Blue than I do with the Emott 0.9 mm blue-black. The color is a more vibrant blue that matches my normal fountain pen ink more closely.
The Uni Nano Dia Color 0.7 mm blue leads don't feel fragile in normal writing, the feel while writing is very smooth, they don't smudge, and the lines erase cleanly with a Pentel Clic Erase vinyl eraser.
Unlike the Uni EMOTT 0.9 mm blue-black leads, the 0.7 mm Nano Dia blue leads don't form as much of a flat spot requiring as much rotation to keep a crisp line.
Since it's Amazon Prime Day, I added a new Pentel Sharp Kerry P1037 Blue to my order. That's going to be my #EDC #writing #pencil.
Oh, the Kerry is not actually on sale, but I ordered a Gear Aid Hero Clip, which is 35% off, so I tacked the pencil on to my order.
