I'm enjoying the work of those crews that bring out those humongous flags onto the World cup football pitch, then fold them up and carry them away within seconds. Well drilled, like the Wimbledon bring on the rain covers teams.

What happens to those really, really big flags after the tournament? 🤔

@scottishlass Having volunteered at a big event my memory is they could be raffled off for charity, cut up to make mementos for the staff, reworked into bags and clothing. I would hope they're recycled, but in America they might just set them on fire.
