@junesim63 it is the political system not an individual. Labour, Tories or Reform will not bring positive change. The whole UK ecosystem needs to get away from GDP increases.

Yes but he resisted removing the 2 child cap on benefits until he was forced kicking and screaming to do it. Meanwhile thousands more babies were plunged into poverty. So yes, it is on him.

@junesim63 by that logic, every politician is complicit and thrrefore responsible. Poverty is not caused by a single act or inaction. Blaming an individual is ignoring the actual problem.
