My friend's xj6 hotrod that he got with a cracked block and put in an old ford 327, now with a turbo.
Finish is Rust-Oleum paint through an airbrush, and it's held up for six years so far.

@smellsofbikes that's longer than any Jag could hold up.

The dichroic headlights make it look as if it has just tooted a huge line of coke

@smellsofbikes
Reminds me of Roadkill Garage's "Draguar"
@DenOfEarth oh I'll tell him that name.
@smellsofbikes Would love to see more pics of this 👍
@SmashDan TBH it's a distant beauty because he had to make a lot of compromises. An XJ has two big weird shaped gas tanks, one in each rear fender, and he couldn't get a fuel pump in either, so it has a big fuel cell in the trunk now, and he DIY'd a windshield replacement so the rubber seal looks pretty bad, for instance. And those foglights under the bumper bounce around when you drive it. At least he only has two now: he used to have eight.
@smellsofbikes Sounds awesome. Things like this give cars character :)
@smellsofbikes That must really hinder the driver's view
@jaj It's not bad. Long hood, low seating position: you can see almost all the hood over it. (And little cars like this have great visibility anyway because you're down so low.)
@smellsofbikes You have cool friends.
