Question for authors, artists, and small business owners…

What do you do when you find out someone you’ve partnered with isn’t someone you want your brand associated with? And I mean, you’ve got their name all over all your materials and then you find *proof* that they’re a truly awful human.

How do you handle it?

@clacksee I just came to read the replies, but found those recommending establishing legal protection in advance to be the most on-point. You truly have my greatest sympathies. I have another friend going through exactly this (well, not exactly-exactly your situation--my friend is dealing with partner embezzlement, but with a very high profile product). His legal bills are going to probably hit seven figures, but are well worth it. He won't be the one paying for them.

Oh yikes, I’m so sorry.
@clacksee I’m sorry that you are going through your predicament! Ugh.
