Sudan: Statement by the Spokesperson

El Obeid must not become another El Fasher. The European Union calls on the Rapid Support Forces to immediately halt their assault on El Obeid. The killing of civilians, the violence against ethnic groups, and targeting of civilian infrastructure must stop. Civilians must be allowed to leave freely and safely and humanitarian actors to have rapid, safe and unhindered access.
