@flexghost Discovered the Scottish band Shooglenifty when we were living in Scotland back in the 2000's.
@flexghost Check out some of the other bands from that same album ("Vibrant New Celtic Sounds from Scotland").
Ceolbeg, The Peatbog Faeries, and Tartan Amoebas are ones I especially liked.
Speaking of Scotland... Maybe not that obscure, certainly not in the UK, but the Scottish band The Vaccines are not known by many in the US, although they should be...
