Look at this fantastic view!
@dillyd LOL we had that happen one day in the Rockies. Sad day
@stephanie @dillyd
The first time I visited Niagara Falls, I could hear them but I couldn't see them 😂
@dillyd have a similar picture of the Seven Sisters on the British coast 😊
@astridpoot @dillyd high five! The excellent views club
@dillyd hey, those are some cool looking rocks!
@dillyd That’s definitely Wales right there.
@BigGayShaun
The authentic Welsh experience.
@dillyd Oh my oldest went to Maui and has the same view from the top of the volcano!
@dillyd @IcooIey made me look for mine!!
@dillyd @IcooIey and fog day at Mount Revelstoke. It wasn't as bad but still 😂 thanks for the memories!
@dillyd
You can see for meters! (Like three.) 😁
@dillyd Now that is beautiful!

@dillyd

Looks familiar. Oh, yes, the photos from those Soviet probes that landed on the surface of Venus.

Each of the probes got about a minute runtime on the ground before the heat and acid atmosphere disabled them

@elithebearded
I never saw those! Fascinating. The weather on the mountain was refreshingly cool.
@dillyd did you like the train up the mountain? We’ve done the cog railway on Mt. Washington n New Hampshire and this looked kind of similar. Did you hike down?
@IcooIey we took the train both ways. My feet are starting to complain because I always walk too much on vacation. I used to live in Leysin Switzerland and we had a cog train there. I have the "This car climbed Mount Washington" bumper sticker on my freezer at home.
Honestly I don't know if I would recommend the train to Snowden. It's very crowded and half the people have to face backwards and you're constantly craning your neck to look out the window.
😂 😂 😂 I saw the look of things when we were walking the dogs and I did think of you.
@Jess.Stetson haha thanks! We had some sun going up. Fog is cool too!

@dillyd if you can see the view from the top of the mountain, it's going to rain or be foggy.

If you can't, it's already raining or foggy!

@dillyd I see you are still in Wales then? 😆 My view from Snowdon in Summer a few years back...
@cazmockett @dillyd i love it when the landscape and weather look like a computer game glitched out and forget to draw the background.
@avatastic @cazmockett that's a fun way to think about it
@dillyd Looked like that the last time I was there as well.
Still being from a South Wales town in the 70s it’s a familiar view.
@dillyd
It is poetry in stone.
@dillyd I'm chuckling, but only because I'm an East Coaster.
@StaceyCornelius
I still haven't been to your part of the world. We keep saying we need to go there next.
@[email protected] It was similar in Aberdaron (end of the Llŷn Peninsula, about 30 miles west of Yr Wyddfa) yesterday evening. We even had some horizontal rain late afternoon.

And whilst we'd been away it looks like some sheep had escaped from a local field and wandered round our garden. There were droppings left everywhere.
@nowster ha! Free fertilizer!

@dillyd Love the mountains! Or ocean! Or valley, whichever. 😂

(I actually love a thick fog, too, how it mutes the sound as well as the sight. An interesting sensory adjustment.)

@Devils_Rancher yes to all the above! I'm easy to please if you put me in nature.
@dillyd I took a very short trip to Liverpool about 12 years ago, and I really need to go back - I barely scratched the surface of even that town. Edinburgh and the Scottish moors are at the top of the list.
@Devils_Rancher
I'm still here and I already want to come back
@dillyd We were there to play a couple gigs but I did a fair amount of wandering about the city: https://flickr.com/photos/76711952@N00/sets/72157667003286214
Liverpool 2016

My band Buzzie got invited to play 2 nights at the International Pop Overthrow music festival in Liverpool. I took the pictures of the buildings and Annisa Hendrix graciously manned the camera during our sets.

@Devils_Rancher that looks like it was fun. Some pareidolia on one of those buildings!
