Recently #retired after almost 40 years coding.

Thought of spend a lot of my time with my main life passion (and profession) - #coding

But I’m finding a lot more things to do.

All the things I never did, I’m now doing.

Right now? Sitting in a hotel bar, drinking red wine, reading a book, and having some quality “me time”.

Should have done this years ago :-)

@t3rcermillenium problem is that it cost money, otherwise I'd be drink-reading too 😆

@alsvha Yeah I hear you. I haven’t done this in years. Never had the time.

But as my eldest son said, I’m retired, not poor :-)

But I’m lucky. I keep telling my kids to start a pension. I didn’t start till my mid 30’s, and had to go in big to get it off the ground.

@t3rcermillenium
Sounds good to me! What’s the book? 👍

The first computer I had anything to do with was a PDP-11. Studying library & information science, we had to write a program to alphabeticise names. Input was on cards. Feels like a million years ago now. 😐
