With today's (anti-cheat) update, #Embark appears to have locked out all #ArcRaiders #Linux players from the game. Hopefully unintentionally.
There are already dozens of reports from Linux / #SteamDeck users who are being kicked for allegedly using "prohibited software." I'm experiencing the same issue right now & am currently unable to play my favourite game.
Now we'll have to see whether this is a bug, intention or yet another case of the "we only support Windows, sorry bye bye"-middlefinger

I really appreciate that #Embark is taking both the issue and us #Linux gamers seriously and is actively working on a solution. I’m used to games running on Linux more by accident than by design, and when problems come up, most studios show little interest in helping. That’s why it feels so refreshing to see on genuinely care.

Just went topside without getting booted out of the game on proton experimental bleeding-edge, the first workaround they implemented seems to work. <3
