Stupeflo@stupeflo all digital camera sensors can see infrared (and UV, for that matter), but they have a filter in front of the sensor so only visible light gets in. you simply take the camera apart, remove that sensor, fix focal distance precisely, and put the camera back together
@stupeflo then generally you have to only use the lens at maximum aperture because otherwise you'll get infrared reflections inside the lens.
and then after you've shot the picture, you take the raw file, white balance it, swap the red and blue channels, and color correct a bit. and then the image looks like kodak aerochrome
