@inpc @bstn wow, this sounds exciting! Can't listen now, very busy day ahead… but I'll reward myself with this tonight!
@inpc @bstn Ooof… that was quite a trippy, noisy ride with loads of wild, unbelievable drumming. I feel a bit beaten up stepping out of this mixtape, and my ears are ringing! It certainly got all of today's lengthy meetings out of my system. LOVED IT!!
@data0 @bstn Yeah listening on the drive home, it may have caused me to slightly exceed the speed limit! Very cool, outside my usual listening wheelhouse but really enjoyed it. I especially liked the first track, the lyrics were sooooo classic. It was like being back with the drummer in my band in the 90s haha.
@inpc @data0 Thanks for your comments guys :) Yes, when I finished that mix I kept asking: isn't it too much? Is it enjoyable? And then you encouraged me too let go so...
Happy that you discovered new stuff, in the end we all went out of our confort zone and I like it :)

Have a good day, won't be able to chat this morning: work session again...
@bstn @inpc I was heavily into no wave, noise rock, post-rock, post-hardcore, whatever in the rearly 2000's. It's also how I had hoped my last band would end up sounding. But these days I almost exclusively listen to music on my headphones and while at work, and this kind of music doesn't exactly lend itself to it :-) I still love it, but it's just too demanding and energy-consuming for my current music habits. But sometimes, it still hits me. I got really hooked by the last Swans f.ex. [1/2]
@bstn @inpc Their self-description says it all "abrasive experimental and post-industrial sound"! :-) Lots of great stuff to discover in your mix. Had to rewind and listen to San Leo again a couple of times, great closing song! Have a good day too! Hope to see you in the chat soon again! [2/2]

I got into San Leo after buying some of the New York No Wave that their label released. Despite being based in Ravenna Italy, Bronson released the recent 'comeback' albums from LIVE SKULL (who were known briefly as NEW OLD SKULL when they first reformed). The same label also released the BC35 anniversary series, from sessions in Gowanus Brooklyn (and live on stage in Ravenna) put together by Martin Bisi.
