Sentimental moment.
My second last lab.

Never before in many years I had such a beautiful, large, comfortable lab (attached to my little studio) - and never again afterwards. Sigh... My sanctuary. ❤️

@mvg I never got to the point where I would be able to make my own prints. Developing the film was the biggest achievement 😃

@mvg I liked to do that, I've had my favorite developer and a few recipes..not so much anymore, film is expensive

@peterk Yes, it is. I am sometimes surprised how many (at best) mediocre photos I see in "social media" every day that have been shot with very expensive cameras and lenses on expensive film, printed on expansive paper developed in expensive chemistry with even more very expensive gear.

There is a religious touch to it. 😛

@mvg True. I liked the process when Agfa or Foma films were cheap. I used FX-39 not because of some magical properties but because it was recommended to me by the staff at the local store once and I used it since then. Of course, it helped that I like Adox as a company 😊

@peterk So do I. But it is hard to live without a little magic. Especially in the darkroom.
