Mastodawn

Went with husbear and sister-in-law to the NYC Museum of Modern Art today.

Blown away by the Duchamp exhibit, which took up the entire 6th Floor. The famous stuff, sure, but lots of surprises to this non-art historian.

The Kahlo-Diego exhibit was also interesting. The room itself is an artwork. Kudos to the designers.

The first few rooms of the exhibit are arranged chronologically. Later rooms are thematic.

"Sonata", one of his earlier works (age 24 or so!), was my favorite piece in the exhibit.
